Document Controller cum Accountant

The Company:

A fast-growing Food & Beverage Holding Group based in UAE.

The Role:

The Document Controller cum Accountant is responsible for to assist both Project Manager and Finance / Admin Team.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the activities of Document Control, including distribution of documents, tracking and reporting on document review progress Work independently to facilitate company activities.
  • Manage archival activities for controlled documents and validation files.
  • Assist with the implementation, management and administration of the department electronic document management system
  • Design & map different activities processes under the direction of the line manager.
  • Review and proofread documents for consistency of document format and system concerns.
  • Use department databases to track and manage and control issued documents. Assign lot numbers, material part numbers, and various other document tracking numbers
  • Maintain procedures for maintaining documents and change control of documents
  • Complies and maintain control records to verify completeness and accuracy of data.
  • Perform general entries like generating invoices etc.
  • Work with finance team to perform general accounting tasks.
  • Help admin staff when require.

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
  • A minimum of 2 years’ previous experience, within a similar position
  • Adhering to confidentiality clause at all times
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Good command of oral and written English
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
