The Company:

Leading multi-disciplinary agency and established global PR, Media and Communications Consultancy.

The Role:

Work closely with the team and clients in a variety of industries and creatively develop media content on business and economic trends and development that are informative and engaging.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Producing and writing a broad range of communication materials (including press releases, features, bios, Q+As, OpEds etc.)
  • Drafting, editing and reviewing press materials in adherence with brand guidelines and specifications
  • Producing and writing a broad range of Responsibilities
  • Evaluate advertising and promotion programs to determine whether they are compatible with the organisation’s public relations efforts
  • Working with the team to create, edit and deliver press, marketing and other PR collateral as well as website copy, speeches and articles for publication
  • Producing timely and accurate content of interest to core audience
  • Understanding the content needs of clients and content management for those clients
  • Ability to modify content produced to planned media channel as well as target audience
  • Analysing information from multiple resources to deliver insight that produce compelling stories
  • Ensuring accuracy of all copy, across all channels flexibly, swiftly, and accurately and to deadline
  • Ensuring the quality of all content is maintained to a high standard, liaising with senior management to ensure the content strategy is developed and sustained
  • Creating and editing content that is accessible, clear and be up to date on local/international trends that impact respective clients
  • Maintaining constant contact with other team members to deliver content on time and in compliance with needs requirements
  • Supporting senior Account Managers with English copy requirements
  • Covering events and conducting interviews
  • Undertaking industry research and generating story ideas and angles to maximise awareness

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

  • Native English speaker
  • University education in the fields of English, Journalism or Communications
  • At least 3 years working in a similar role (agency experience preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent research skills Ability to quickly identify content relevant to core audience
  • Strong writing skills, proof reading and sub-editing with attention to detail
  • Ability to come up with eye-catching headlines
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to write to a tight brief/word count/deadline
  • Proven ability to spot and correct copy errors
