The Role

To oversee all functions of Human Resources Operations and provide support to our employees with specific focus creating a highly engaged culture in continuous pursuit of HR functional excellence.

 

Duties

  • Manage the full scope of human resources operations activities, including but not limited to hiring & on-boarding, Off- boarding, compensation and benefits administration, project management, employee relations, employment laws and regulations, health and safety
  • Acts as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations.
  • Collect and analyze human resources data, and make recommendations for changes to management
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies to foster continuous improvements in efficiency and effectiveness of human resource department process provided
  • Conduct effective, thorough and objective fact-finding investigations, where appropriate, to help achieve closure on employee relations issues
  • Administer employee compensation, and benefit programs
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes including (Sourcing, screening CVs and interviewing)
  • Liaising with Recruitment agencies and provide requirement to source appropriate candidates
  • Manage the off-boarding processes: process all exits including generating an End of Service, all required paperwork and processing separation
  • Create, review and revise innovative reward schemes, both monetary and non-monetary to motivate employees
  • Create, manage and update the Pay and Allowances guide for UAE and overseas staff, creation of new Pay and Allowances guide for any new project locations. In addition, manage the update of the respective permanent and temporary UAE / outstation contracts following each remuneration review and the creation of new employment contracts for any new project locations.
  • Manage internal job changes such as transfers and promotions
  • Communicate with all Business Units and update Head of HR in order to maintain up-to date and in-depth knowledge of future operational plans and developments. Assist and provide support in establishing a manpower planning system in line with best industry practice.
  • Work closely with the Head of HR and employees to foster positive working relationships, and to increase employee engagement, satisfaction
  • Create, review and revise innovative reward schemes, both monetary and non-monetary to motivate employees
  • Ensure fair treatment and implementation of the company’s human resource policies for all staff
  • Prepare effective reports and presentations
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Manage and maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Undertake special projects
  • Additional duties, as assigned

 

 

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, business psychology or related field

• CIPD, PHR, CHRM certification preferred

• Minimum of 7 to 8 years of HR working experience which at least five years must be in a supervisory role

• Experience with company of similar size or bigger

 

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• Proficiency in an HRIS system, preferably SAP SF

• Principles and procedures of compensation and benefits, & arithmetic application

• Problem solving, logical reasoning, numerical ability

• Excellent computer skills including MS Office

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Strong team orientation with excellent articulation in the English language to be able to deal with difficult individuals and positively influence them

• Excellent presentation skills

• Leading and Managing People
