The Company:

Waste Management Company based in Abu Dhabi.

The Role:

Responsible for enhancing sales by identifying business development opportunities, branding and new product introduction. Establishes long term relationships with existing and potential customers within the UAE market. 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develops and submits strategic business cases including conducting financial feasibility studies for creating new business opportunities as well as expanding present opportunities.
  • Builds relationships with potential & existing customers to create long term business opportunities for company and its affiliates.
  • Analyses market trends and accordingly provide forecasts regarding expected market scenario in the coming years to ensure market gains.
  • Ensures a unified and coordinated approach to branding and services across branches in UAE.
  • Periodically reviews the strategy ensuring it is in sync with the existing market conditions.
  • Approves discounts as per approved delegation of authority; Coordinates with the Operations & Accounts teams to ensure prices are competitive.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction by timely and correct service delivery; Oversees orders placed with Operations team are delivered as per agreed timelines.
  • Restructure and reorganize current sales team by region and activities, set target and support them to achieve their targets.
  • Managing all joint ventures and MOU of the company and liaise with partners to achieve target or goals set in the partnership documents.
  • Periodically reviews achievements against the approved budgets and business plans.
  • Provides periodic reports to the management on Business Development & sales activities.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Managing Director.

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

  • Business Graduate with at least 10 plus years of industry experience in business development and out of which at least 3 years should be in leading a sales force.
  • Hands on knowledge of establishing business plans, strategies, budgets, etc.
  • Excellent networking skills.
  • Well versed with preparation of business cases and conducting market research & feasibility studies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
