The Company:

A large local family office real estate division

The Role:

Oversee and supervise the services provided by Facility Management companies to ensure timely, quality and complete delivery of contracted obligations.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Prepare schedules of planned preventive maintenance works, and supervise the services provided by Facility Management companies to ensure strict implementation of the planned preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and follow up the timely resolution of these problems.
  • Ensure prompt response and satisfactory closure of issues raised by end-users.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly Facility Management reports.
  • Coordinate daily facility management activities with Property Management team, tenants and stakeholders.
  • Review repair works requests to verify its cost and optimize the delivery of the required services.
  • Supervise the works to ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and statuary requirements.
  • Inspect the sites and identify means and methods to reduce operational costs including the cost of utilities.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections.
  • Assist in preparing capital and operational budgets.
  • Monitor and control capital expenditure and operational costs.


Desired Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Minimum 7 years experience in maintenance and service field with at least 7 years in real estate operation and maintenance for developers or facilities management companies
  • Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical is preferred)
  • Fluent in English, knowledge in Arabic and/or URDU is preferred
  • Outstanding knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, refurbishment, cleaning, security, and safety.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Leadership and good communication skills.
  • Great eye for detail.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulation and practices.
  • Good knowledge of energy conservation practices and green building regulations.
  • Effective cost control and performance management.
  • Effective management of vendors and service providers, including documentation and quantitation of Key Performance Indicators.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CAFM systems.
  • UAE driving license
