Job Summary:

 

We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our team at a leading real estate development company in Dubai. The successful candidate will ensure the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure, support end-users, and maintain real estate-specific software solutions. This role is critical in providing technical expertise to enhance business efficiency and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide prompt on-site and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Set up and configure devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, for employees.
  • Respond to and resolve user queries through ticketing systems, phone, or in-person assistance.

 

IT Infrastructure Management:

  • Maintain and monitor local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates for servers, operating systems, and network devices.
  • Ensure robust IT security practices, including antivirus updates, firewalls, and access control.
  • Manage data backups and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard company data.

 

Real Estate-Specific Applications:

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for real estate and property management software  CRM tools, and ERP systems.
  • Coordinate with software vendors for updates, integrations, and troubleshooting.
  • Train users on new systems and tools to optimize their functionality and usage.

 

System Administration:

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and roles across various platforms, including email and collaboration tools.
  • Oversee procurement, installation, and configuration of IT equipment and software.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

 

Collaboration & Projects:

  • Assist in implementing IT projects, including system upgrades and new technology rollouts.
  • Work closely with other departments to understand their technical needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest IT trends and recommend enhancements to improve productivity.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT support, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and IT networking.
  • Experience with property management and CRM/ERP software such as Yardi, SAP, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Knowledge of IT security protocols and best practices.

 

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
