The Company:

The Role:

The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients and actively identifying new markets and business opportunities within POP (point of purchase displays) 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Consulting clients about POP business opportunities  
  • Formulating strategies to retain existing clients and to develop new business
  • Passing on proposals to relevant departments for design and costing
  • Agreeing timescales and budgets with clients
  • Monitoring and chasing work progress
  • Analyzing, interpreting and presenting results when necessary
  • Delivering ideas and final product/services to clients for review
  • Managing a portfolio of accounts
  • Developing with all client relationships and ensuring above and beyond to meet expectations
  • Using an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business leads
  • Leading and training other members of the account team
  • Leading project management activities
  • Ensuring necessary actions are undertaken by key members for a flawless delivery
  • Achieving and exceeding sales quarterly targets
  • To ensure you have a healthy sales pipeline with a minimum of 20 pending clients throughout
  • Working to uniformed Key Performance Indicators
  • Filling in weekly activity reports within a timeframe suitable to management
  • Ensuring all activity is recorded through the CRM system
  • Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients
  • Completing administrative work as required
  • Chasing customers for payments as and when necessary

 

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

  • A University degree
  • At least 5 years of work experience in POP sales with FMCG and other consumer groups in Saudi 
  • Transferable book of business 
  • Fluency in spoken and written English & Arabic
  • Good communication and networking skills  
  • A keen attention to detail with thorough checking of all work
  • Can complete simultaneous tasks to deadline in a high pressure environment, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
