Senior Positions Private Equity

The Company:

A newly set up PE house in the DIFC – the fund is in the investment stage.

The Role:

Various levels of senior mangement  that will be responsible to lead and manage execution teams of Associates and Analysts supporting PE transactions as well as be involved in origination of future deals.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing and identifying direct investment opportunities in the targeted countries
• Build and develop operating/asset/consolidation/DCF/whole of business equity and debt financial models which including financial statements, cash flow analysis, equity analysis, funding structure and debt covenants
• Critically review and provide detailed advice to business assumptions and scenarios such to assure the quality of the business analysis
• Provide detailed comments to investment execution team on models’ logic and mathematical calculations
• Develop and maintain various databases and apply statistics to systematically analyze such databases
• Deep-dive research and idea generation of investment opportunities in the focused sectors
• Supporting the investment director by applying statistics to critically evaluate portfolio company business performance and asset management plans
• Other quantitative/industry analysis that the business requires from time to time
• Coordinate transaction closings
• Lead new business development and marketing efforts, including maintaining detailed pipeline of prospects and potential deals through the company’s CRM system and external sources
• Establish and maintain industry business relationships to generate on-going deal flow
• Qualify potential investment opportunities
• Post-closing: interact with the management of portfolio companies, monitor performance and report internally on regular basis
• Oversee and train investment team members as appropriate

Knowledge Skills & Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Business or Accounts and Finance a preference for MBA
• Minimum 10 years within a PE Environment – preferable in the GCC region
• Ability and aptitude to be an independent and critical thinker and is self-motivated
• Aptitude to and proven record in working persistently in pursuing personal goals
• Good command of oral and written English, Arabic would be an advantage.
• A good team player who is able to work with others and create synergy by working with others
• Capable to plan and prioritize tasks and making sounds judgements independently
