Job Summary

The Analyst role involves evaluating potential investment opportunities, conducting in-depth financial analysis, and assisting in the management of the investment portfolio. This position requires strong financial acumen, a high level of motivation, and attention to detail, as it plays a crucial role in supporting the investment team in its successful execution of the overall investment strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of potential investment targets, developing and maintaining financial models to assess various scenarios, including valuation, cash flow projections, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Facilitate the due diligence process by coordinating with third-party advisors and experts.
  • Collaborate in the structuring and negotiation of investment transactions, including equity investments, debt financing, and exit strategies.
  • Collect data, monitor the performance of existing portfolio companies, and generate regular reports for senior management.
  • Conduct in-depth research on both companies and industries, providing valuable insights to inform investment strategies and decision-making.
  • Prepare reports, and presentations for senior management, conveying complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; an advanced degree such as an MBA or CFA is advantageous.
  • Previous experience (min. 2 years) in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance advisory, or related roles.
  • Previous deal experience in Healthcare or Hospitality would be a plus.
  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic, encompassing written and spoken communication.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with a high level of Excel proficiency.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and presentations.
  • Possesses an analytical mindset with acute attention to detail and excels in organizational and time management.
  • Demonstrates a natural curiosity and a strong interest in the healthcare and education sectors.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and skilled in presentation preparation.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
