The Role

Seeking a Community & Operations Associate to support on all logistical and operational elements of our programs and events in the UAE. Furthermore, they would be critical in helping to further develop and monitor our internal and external processes to streamline our program deliver; partner success; startup success; and growth efforts.

An ideal candidate is highly organized, reliable, efficient and team orientated.

Duties:

Lead Day-to-Day Program Operations & Logistics: You will lead, with a team, all operational, logistical, and vendor-based efforts to ensure smooth delivery of these events and workshop (virtual or in-person).

Collateral Development: Working with our centralized marketing team, you will support in designing and developing all branded event collaterals for all public or private facing events.

Lead Data Tracking, Collection & Reporting: For the success of the program and satisfaction of our lead sponsors, it is critical that we are frequently tracking the progress and success of our startups and program activities we are delivering on behalf of our partners. You will play a lead role in generating and collecting that data e.g. through surveys, startup interviews, reports etc.

Internal & External Process Development: We rely on key tools and processes to coordinate our program and partner success / growth (e.g. Monday.com & SalesForce). You will be critical in ensuring, with the team, that we establish and abide by these processes.

Startup Community Management: Managing our community of startups taking part in UAE and Middle eastern based programs. We’ll rely on you stay in touch with startups, stay up to date with all their latest announcements or other support required.

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

  • Past experience in operations, startup community management and automation, ideally within the tech startup or tech accelerator/incubator space.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and process development skills
  • 1 – 3 years past experience in the MENA region, ideally in UAE
  • Passion for tech startups and entrepreneurship
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills – English (necessary) and Arabic (highly desired)
  • Previous experience working with catering or event management vendors
  • Positive mindset and work ethic. A strong team player willing to get hands on.
  • Ability to use Google Suite, Keynote, Zoom and most importantly has the ability to learn and adapt to any online platform.
  • Openness to travel for work.
