Position – Senior Marketing Manager

Company – A leading Beauty Distribution Company.

Location- Dubai, UAE

Budget– 11,000 AED to 13,000 AED

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • The successful Senior Marketing Executive will be commercially minded with strong leadership skills with an ability to communicate, influence, and manage key brands across the business.
  • You will have a track record in brand building, brand planning and customer marketing to develop marketing plans for multiple brands included in the company portfolio.
  • We are ideally looking for an individual with previous marketing experience in beauty, that has experience in managing budgets and leading a team. Sales experience is a plus. You will be somebody who is savvy in Microsoft Office applications like Excel and PowerPoint for doing sales, market analysis and proposals. You will be creative and will have the capacity to deliver in a fast-paced operational environment with KPI focus. You will be a team player with the willingness to adapt to different situations.

Brand Management

  • Study the brand portfolio and conduct market research to identify the impacting market dynamics and potential for creating brand, client proposals and business review presentations.
  • Ensure proper alignment with the Sales Team on all updates relative to the brand portfolio.
  • Prepare merchandising plans and assist the Sales Team in the implantation of merchandising plans and standards.
  • Responsible for the proper execution of the approved marketing plans, launches and re-launches of all products under the assigned brand.
  • Plan, organize, and execute all events related to the assigned brand.
  • Ensure the readiness of all brand support material and programs, which includes and not limited to salon branding, digital marketing, and social media in coordination with the Digital Specialist and Graphics Designer.
  • Monitor the feedback from customers to measure their satisfaction with the company’s products.
  • Ensure that all branding requests such as monitoring stock levels for campaigns before launching a new brand are applied as per brand guidelines.
  • Ensure all new products are distributed by the sales team to each client and that products are well displayed as per brand standards.
  • To provide support to the Sales Team in creating presentations, opening orders and other marketing materials.
  • Generate monthly reports as deemed necessary by the brand.

Brand Development

  • Develop the marketing calendar considering the relative budget, and secure management approval.
  • Develop and maintain continuous updates of all brand portfolio presentations and related marketing material.
  • Develop and issue post-performance reports that support taking the necessary decisions that impact the brand performance such as but not limited to sales achievement, budget spending, and growth analysis.
  • Research, analyze, and study the pricing of new brands before it’s launched.
  • Research and conduct internal market analysis for new brands.
  • Preparing customized supplier and sub-distributor contracts.
  • Contribute to the creation of brochures, Step-by-step workbooks, and collaterals, and offer artworks and other marketing materials needed.

Team Management

  • Create and maintain a healthy organizational chart with clear job responsibilities of each member of the team.
  • Manage the performance of the team – set annual performance goals, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
  • Develop and mentor subordinates to move to the next higher level of job through career planning and develop a development chart.
  • Ensure compliance to Company policies and values.
  • Coordinate with the HR for appraisals of the team
  • Budget Management and Supplier Coordination
  • Maintain timely contact and alignment with the suppliers of the assigned brand for continuous updates and execution.
  • Prepare the annual marketing budget for the brands in consultation with the management team and allocate resources to territories/brands with the breakup in terms of advertising, sales promotions, season, campaigns, etc.
  • Review the budgets and make recommendations to the management as deemed necessary.
  • Report on the utilization of the Budgets periodically (as agreed)
  • Ensure that spending is within the limits of approved plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Beauty Industry OR related experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing
  • Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel & PowerPoint in particular)
  • Experience in Canva OR DESIGNING is a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong presentation, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal – Arabic speaker is a plus
